Why Choose Stamped Concrete

Three reasons stamped beats the real thing.

Pattern and color without the pavers. Fewer joints, no re-sanding, no weeds, and a single monolithic surface engineered to last.

Cost

High-end look, half the price.

Stamped concrete delivers the appearance of natural stone, brick, or slate at a fraction of the cost, with installation time and labor that compares to standard concrete, not custom hardscape.

  • Cost-Effective
  • Fast Install
  • Great ROI

Low Maintenance

No weeds, no re-sanding.

Pavers need joint sand replaced every few years. Stone needs re-pointing. Stamped concrete is one monolithic surface, no joints for weeds, no movement between stones, just an annual re-seal.

  • Annual Reseal
  • No Weeds
  • No Shifting

Endless Options

Any pattern, any color, any space.

Brick, slate, cobblestone, wood plank, ashlar, European fan, plus integrally colored, acid-stained, or two-tone antiqued. If you can picture it, we can pour it.

Pattern & Color Options

Pick a pattern. Pick a palette. We pour it.

A sampling of the patterns and color systems we install most often across South Jersey.

  • Ashlar slate: classic, widely spaced random stone pattern
  • European fan: curved cobblestone layout, formal and elegant
  • Random stone / flagstone: organic, natural-looking irregular pattern
  • Roman cobble: tight cobblestone grid, Old-World aesthetic
  • Wood plank: replicates plank decking with grain texture
  • Running bond brick: traditional brick layout in any tone
  • Integrally colored + antique release: two-tone depth baked into the pour

How We Pour

Five steps from design to cured finish.

Stamped concrete is about timing: stamp too early and you mush the finish, too late and the pattern won't take. Here's how we nail the window.

  1. 01

    Design Selection

Pick your pattern and color with samples in hand. We bring real stamped pieces to the estimate so you see actual texture, not just photos.

  2. 02

    Surface Prep

For new installs: grading, compacted sub-base, reinforcement. For overlays: cleaning, bonding agent, and thin-set prep so the overlay holds.

  3. 03

    Pour & Color

Reinforced pour with integrally mixed color. Release agent applied for two-tone antiquing, or a contrasting accent color broadcast onto the surface.

  4. 04

    Stamp the Pattern

Pattern mats pressed into the slab at the right set-time: too early and the pattern smears, too late and it won't take. This is the craft part.

  5. 05

    Seal & Cure

After full cure, we apply a professional-grade sealer that locks in color, adds sheen, and protects against UV fade and stains for years.

Built on Trust

35+ years of showing up, finishing strong, standing behind the work.

Our reputation in South Jersey wasn't built on marketing. It was built on 1,500+ homeowners who called us back, told their neighbors, and left their porch lights on when we needed an early start. That's the standard we pour to.

Call Tom Eissler directly. Most calls are answered the same day.

Any concrete slab develops hairline movement over time. That's why we cut control joints at proper spacing and camouflage them with the pattern. A properly installed stamped surface stays visually intact for 20+ years.

The slab itself lasts 30+ years. The decorative finish (color and sealer) typically needs to be re-sealed every 2–3 years to keep looking fresh, a simple annual maintenance task, not a replacement.

If the existing slab is structurally sound, yes. A textured decorative overlay can be stamped and colored to transform the surface without a tear-out. Costs far less and takes less time.

Integrally colored concrete (pigment mixed into the pour) is very fade-resistant. Surface stains and release agents fade faster and may need periodic re-tinting. UV-stable sealer extends the life of both.

The pattern itself adds grip. Most stamped finishes are actually more slip-resistant than smooth troweled concrete. For wet areas (pool decks), we can add slip-resistant additives to the sealer.

Absolutely. That's part of the estimate. Tom brings physical samples of patterns and colors so you can match them against your home, pool coping, or existing hardscape before picking.
